Cheese Filled Skillet Gnocchi with Lemon, Ricotta and Asparagus

What you’ll need

  • Olivieri Skillet Cheese Gnocchi™ 280 g
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 lb asparagus, cut into 2-inch (5 cm) pieces
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese, at room temperature
Directions



  • MELT butter in T-fal 12-inch Nonstick Fry Pan set over medium heat; cook asparagus, pepper and garlic until tender-crisp. Stir in lemon zest; cover and set aside. Wipe frying pan clean with paper towel.
  • HEAT oil in same frying pan set over medium-high heat; cook Olivieri Skillet Cheese Gnocchi™, stirring frequently until gnocchi are golden brown and cheese starts to ooze out.
  • TOSS gnocchi with asparagus mixture and Parmesan cheese.
  • DOLLOP with ricotta.
Tasty Tip: For added flavour, sprinkle with torn basil leaves before serving.
