Fresh Mozzarella & Tomato Crostini

This classic recipe for fresh mozzarella & tomato crostini is the perfect (and easy!) dish to start off the evening.


What you’ll need

  • Garlic Bread
  • OLIVIERI® Basil & Cheese Pesto 160 g (1 tbsp)
  • 2 X 125 ml pkg fresh mozzarella, cut into 1/4-inch thick slices
  • 2 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, thinly sliced

  • SLICE warmed garlic bread into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  • PLACE slices on baking sheet and bake until toasted (5- 6 minutes).
  • SPREAD OLIVIERI® Basil & Cheese Pesto evenly over slices.
  • TOP each with a slice of cheese and a slice of tomato.
  • SPRINKLE with basil before serving.
  • GRAB a slice or two for yourself before serving. They’ll go fast.
Tasty Tip: Drizzle with 1 tbsp balsamic reduction.
