Grilled Steak with Basil Fettuccine

Beef up your supper time with this deliciously simple steak and pasta recipe. Think fettuccini, pesto and outdoor grilling!

What you’ll need

  • OLIVIERI® Basil Fettuccini Nested 300 g
  • OLIVIERI® Basil & Cheese Pesto 160g (1/2 package)
  • 1 x 500 g strip loin steak, 1.5 to 2 inches thick
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak spice
Directions

  • PRE-HEAT grill to medium-high heat.
  • RUB steaks with olive oil and Montreal steak spice, then grill to your version of perfection. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  • BOIL OLIVIERI® Basil Fettuccine for 2 minutes. Drain pronto.
  • HEAT OLIVIERI® Basil & Cheese Pesto with hot oil (2- 3 minutes).
  • ADD pasta and mix until well coated.
  • SLICE steak into thin strips and serve with pasta. Perfetto!
Tasty Tip: We love it with caramelized red onions.
