Sausage and Bean Ragout with Cheese Tortellini
What you’ll need
- 4 spicy Italian sausages, casing removed
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
- OLIVIERI® Tomato & Basil 300 ml
- 1 can (540 ml) white kidney beans, drained
- OLIVIERI® 3 Formaggi Tortellini 350 g
Directions
- SAUTÉ sausage and oregano in hot oil, use a wooden spoon to break the meat into small pieces (7-10 minutes).
- ADD onion, garlic and red pepper and cook until softened (3- 5 minutes).
- POUR in OLIVIERI® Tomato & Basil sauce and beans, then bring to a simmer.
- BOIL OLIVIERI® 3 Formaggi Tortellini until perfectly tender (6 -7 minutes). Drain pronto.
- TOSS everything together and presto, it’s perfetto!
