Sausage and Bean Ragout with Cheese Tortellini

Featuring our 3 Formaggi Tortellini, sausage, and kidney beans, this dish is a simple, flavourful meal you’ll love!

What you’ll need

  • 4 spicy Italian sausages, casing removed
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • OLIVIERI® Tomato & Basil 300 ml
  • 1 can (540 ml) white kidney beans, drained
  • OLIVIERI® 3 Formaggi Tortellini 350 g
Directions

  • SAUTÉ sausage and oregano in hot oil, use a wooden spoon to break the meat into small pieces (7-10 minutes).
  • ADD onion, garlic and red pepper and cook until softened (3- 5 minutes).
  • POUR in OLIVIERI® Tomato & Basil sauce and beans, then bring to a simmer.
  • BOIL OLIVIERI® 3 Formaggi Tortellini until perfectly tender (6 -7 minutes). Drain pronto.
  • TOSS everything together and presto, it’s perfetto!
Tasty Tip: Sprinkle with Romano cheese, basil & some extra love.
