Skillet Gnocchi Carbonara

Quick and easy, this one-pan gnocchi dish delivers delicious Italian flavours in every bite.


What you’ll need

  • 1 pkg (300 g) Olivieri® Skillet Classic Gnocchi
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Olivieri® Classic Alfredo Sauce
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) finely chopped chives

  • COOK bacon in large skillet set over medium heat until fat starts to render. Increase heat to medium-high.
  • ADD Olivieri® Skillet Classic Gnocchi; sauté for 8 to 10 minutes or until bacon is cooked and gnocchi are heated through, golden brown and crispy. Drain excess fat.
  • STIR in Olivieri® Classic Alfredo Sauce; bring to simmer. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until sauce is heated through.
  • SPRINKLE with cheese and pepper; toss until well combined and garnish with chives.
Tip: For a vegetarian option, substitute bacon for a poached, fried or boiled egg.
